What is a PSA Test?
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) is a protein produced exclusively by the prostate gland. A simple blood test measures PSA levels in nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL). Elevated levels may indicate prostate inflammation, benign enlargement (BPH), or — less commonly — prostate cancer. Crucially, PSA is a screening tool, not a diagnostic test. When Should Indonesian Men Consider PSA Screening?
